I've been working with a business coach in planning my goals for 2016. As I really began to get down to the nuts and bolts of the things I thought I wanted to do in the coming year, I started to relating them back to why I started this business in the first place, some things just didn't fit. So why did I start my business?
Well I will try to give it you without writing a book. My first career began with a prominent modeling and acting agency. I worked there for the better part of 5 years, quickly moving up in the ladder, before my life took me in a different direction. The first position I held was as an instructor~head instructor. I trained new talent and trained new instructors to train new talent. As an instructor, I taught the mechanics of skin care, various types of make up application, walking the catwalk, projecting poise and confidence, fashion styles, and communication/speaking-spokesmodeling. Soon I began to realize, the impact that I was having on these young people~my students! What an incredible opportunity I had been given, the opportunity to pour into the lives of these young girls and guys at a "spongy" stage of their lives. I was helping them develop poise and positively impacting their self esteem. It was so enjoyable and rewarding that it is the foundation at which I operate my business.
I love working with teens! It is such an exciting period of transition for them and I get to capture who they are at this moment in time. As a photographer, it is my privilege to capture what makes YOU a beautiful person in this world!
